Sunset Socials

Good company, great views and a cold drink as the sun goes down over the bay.

Sunset Socials are one of the most popular fixtures on the McCrae Yacht Club calendar. Every week from the first week of October through to the last week of April, members gather to unwind, catch up and watch the light fade over Port Phillip.

Whether youre a sailor, a social member or simply someone who loves being near the water, everyone is welcome. Bring your own food and fire up the club BBQs, or make use of the club kitchen. The bar is open all evening, so you can settle in with a drink as the sun goes down.

Sunset Socials are family friendly, so bring the kids and make an evening of it.

Bring a friend
Members of all levels are welcome to bring guests along to share the evening. In line with club by-laws, guests may attend up to three times per year. Its a great way to introduce friends and family to the club, and you might even gain a new member.

When: Every Friday from 6pm to 10pm, first week of October to last week of April 

Food: BYO, or use the club BBQs and kitchen

Drinks: Bar open all evening

Bookings: Not required
